Project Objective:

Redesign the user interface of Brewlytics, a robust automation software that allows users to apply logic to, chain together, and execute powerful workflows across multiple applications.

Project Details

Brewlytics is a workflow-automation software that sprung from a project directly designed for use by the US Government, with Brewlytics being a product aimed at the commercial sector. The first demo I was shown provided an example of how one analyst could perform a task in seconds that previously took hours. Now that’s a strong claim, but this has to be the most useful application I’ve ever used. Brewlytics allows a user to string together multiple tasks into what’s known as a workflow; a set of multiple, digital-based tasks. We’ve all heard of how automation is coming to change the workforce forever, but it seemed like a ‘someday’ fantasy. The demo I saw showed how an analyst could scrape all of the tweets in a given area, this example was located within the Chicago Metro area, and then log all of those tweets from a given time-range, all without writing a line of code.
